Amethyst Spell for Lovers
What you will need:
Two Amethyst Necklaces that look somewhat alike.
A lavender or pink candle.
Rose oil to dress the candle.
Both of you sitting with the candle between you.
2 lighters. or matches.
You pass the candle back and forth and each person takes a turn in dressing the candle with the oil. As you dress the candle you talk about the favorite things you love about each other. You pass the candle and oil back and forth kind of like a talking stick. Who ever has the candle and is anointing it gets to talk. Do this until you feel the love all over the place.
Once that is done set the candle back in front of you and each person taking either a match or a lighter will light the candle at the same time. Let it burn for a minute and share a kiss over the candle. Then you take the other persons necklace and hold it over the flame. ( not in it. Don’t wanna damage the stone) As you both hold each others necklaces over the flame and let the chains twine around each other say:
Let our love burn as hot as this flame.
Let our walls come down like a summer rain
With each other we shall feel no shame
With each other we shall survive the pain.
Our love is Patient.
Our Love is kind.
Our hearts are Open
as well as our minds.
Shall this bond we need to break.
We shall throw these stone into river or lake.
The running water shall wipe us clean.
Our hearts, our minds, and our suffering.
Each lover puts the necklace they are holding on the other person. and seal it with a kiss.

I can’t find a representation of the God for my altar, and I have been trying. I looked on ebay for a small piece of deer antler, but there was nothing that really called to me (also I’m not sure how Mike would react to me keeping bits of animals on my altar, the cats wold probably love it), I looked for a sculpture of a deer, same problem, couldn’t find anything I liked. I don’t want to use a picture, because I have two little Goddess statues. I found a little statue that represents the God, but it was made from plastic (I HATE plastic).
Then I remembered that I have a woodburning iron, Lightbulb! I’ve found a small, square block of wood that would be fit for purpose, and a picture (the one above) that I like, so am gonna make my own piece of art to represent the Lord. I think he’d appreciate that more than a statue bought off ebay.

“Witch Starter Kit”

walkinginthemoonlightpath:

So the first thing that many people tell new people starting out is you don’t need all the tools. Those people are right. So I have created a list of tools I suggest if someone one’s something to practice with.

  • 2 Tealight Candles (white)
  • Ribbon
  • A notebook
  • Construction Paper of various colors
  • Salt
  • Representation of elements
  • Representation of god & goddess

2 tealight candles : I suggest these ,because they are the easiest (& cheapest) to find . The candles can be used for fire representation , to mediate with , or anything really.

Ribbon: Ribbons can be used for knot magick . It is simple ,and powerful magick. Resources : 1 & 2 .

A notebook : This is the most important tool in my opinion . A notebook is for journaling ,and putting research in. Feel free to print out information ,and tape in .

If you could change one thing about the past, what would it be? How would this change positively affect your present life?”

Samisspirit

Construction Paper of Various Colors :  This is random ,but it can be helpfull. Construction paper can be used to make poppet dolls, or to decorate your notebook. Or even to represent elements.

Salt : Salt is used to cleanse ,or to represent earth . It can also be used for outlining your circle.

Representation of Elements:

  • Earth: Basically everything once you step outside: dirt, leaves, etc.
  • Air: Incense , Feathers
  • Fire: Candles, Red Rocks, Fake candles
  • Water : Water from the tap will do just fine, but it’s always nice to have rain water.

Representative of God & Goddess :

  • God : *Gold colored anything , pine cone, statue of god, picture of god.
  • Goddess: *Silver colored anything, seashell, statue of goddess, picture of goddess.
  • ***Which ever color you feel’s corresponding with god , or goddess go with your gut***

So that’s it . I just made this post ,because people sometimes go over board . Also partially ,because of silver ravenwolfs “teen witch kit” crap.

Pictures will be added soon.

** I didn’t mean it to sound wiccan although now that I look back it kinda does. I myself am not wiccan however I still represent a female and male aspect on my altar ,as the same with the elements. I just fiqured I would include them since a lot of books talk about them . You do not have to worship anything to be a witch I have met ,only online however, atheist witches)**

Spell to Atrract a New Friend:

paganworks:

Items Needed:

  • 3 Brown Candles

  • Sheet of paper

  • Lighter

  • Fireproof container like a metal pot or cauldron

During the waxing phase of the moon, light 3 brown candles. On a sheet of paper, write down the attributes you want your new friend to have. Speak each one out loud.

When you are done, fold the paper in half twice. Light the edge of the folded paper with one of the candles and repeat this incantation:

With heart and mind I do now speak
Bring to me the one I seek.
Let this paper be the guide
And bring this new friend to my side.

Pain and loneliness be no more
Draw a compatriot to my door.
With pleasures many and sorrows few
Let us build a friendship new.

Let not this simple spell coerce
Or make my situation worse.
As I will it, so mote it be.

Let the paper burn out then snuff the candles. Within the next few weeks, you should meet someone with some or all of the qualities you seek.

Bottle Spell for Protection:

paganworks:

The Bottle Spell for Protection

Used to neutralize the power of those who intend to do you physical harm, or hurt your reputation, or in any way pose a threat to your security.

You will need:

  • 4 tbsp Frankincense or Myrrh

  • 4 tbsp Black powdered Iron

  • 4 tbsp Sea Salt

  • 4 tbsp Orris-root Powder (or oak moss)

  • 1 white candle

  • 1 bottle with a cork or lid

  • Mortar and pestle

  • Parchment Paper

  • Black Ink or black ballpoint pen

  • Black thread

Mix the sea salt, orris-root powder, and the iron in a bowl. Then cut a piece of parchment to fit inside your bottle and write on it with black ink:

I neutralize the power of (name of adversary) to do me any harm.
I ask that this be correct and for the good of all.
So mote it be!

Roll up the parchment, tie it with a black thread to bind it, and place it in the bottle. Fill the bottle with the dry ingredients. Then take the white candle and while turning the bottle counterclockwise, drip the wax over the cork to seal it.

Last, secretly bury the bottle in a place where it will not be disturbed and no animals or people will dig it up.

This spell is like a genie in a bottle. It should never be unleashed or the power of the spell is lost.

Confidence spell:

paganworks:

Confidence Spell

What you’ll need:

  • A small shell or other item you can carry with you

  • Yellow candle

Light the candle and hold it in your right hand. Say:

“Please give me confidence
So I can be the best
I failed it once
But now I will be better than the rest”

Pass the shell through the flame and say:

“May this be my lucky charm so my wish can come true”

Kiss the shell for good luck and pass it through the flame one last time and say:

“May my charm help me in all I do”

Keep the shell with you, touching it frequently to fill you with confidence.

To Reverse a Spell:

paganworks:

Purpose: To undo a spell
Best time to perform: After midnight any night
Direction to face to open the circle: East
Best moon phase to use: Waning

Optional Supplies:

  • Incense to burn : benzoin
  • Herbs to use: angelica
  • Oils to use : anoint candles with rosemary oil
  • Candle colors: use white candles, as many as you like.

Supplies needed:

  • one bead from a necklace you own (preferably a pearl—faux or real)
  • a small patch of black cloth
  • some string for tying

Incantation:

“I cast a spell asking <insert type of spell here>, I now ask the favor of having the spell removed. I understand to take back a spell means giving up something of my own to show my spirit is true and my intentions are good. I give this pearl/bead from a necklace I own. I transfer the spell into the <pearl or bead> and render the spell dormant. No harm may come from the cancellation of this spell. No further power shall it have. This is my will - so mote it be.”

Place the pearl/bead in the black cloth - add your angelica herbs. Tie the cloth up tightly with the string, wrapping the pearl/bead in the cloth. Dribble a bit of wax from the candles on the knot you tie. Then throw the small package away, far from your home.

Close the circle and give thanks.

Casting The Circle

arrowmoonsbos:

Light one white candle. Envision a circle of white light around you (and your altar).

Face North and say:

Hail to the guardians of the North, mighty earth who feeds us, our home and mother, welcome to the circle.

Next, face East and say:

Hail to the guardians of the East, blessed air who cools us, the breath of life in all, welcome to the circle.

Next, face the South and say:

Hail to the guardians of the South, sacred flame that sparks life in all, our protection and father, welcome to the circle.

Finally, face the West and say:

Hail to the guardians of the West, Waters of life, where all are cleansed and reborn, welcome to the circle.

Proceed with your ritual.
